Who is Your God

Tue Jan 9, 2007, 2:13 PM
Well, who is? Seriously,I am curious about my friends and where thier spirituality falls. Are you an Atheist, Hindu, Christian, Wiccan, Buddhist or even believe in the force? Share a little about yourself! I await your thoughts!

I might do a few of these to gain some worldly knowledge. And you don't have to say anything! But I would like it if you left a littel blurb about your beliefs. I'll start!

I'm Catholic. Yes, yes, catholics can be close minded but not me. I am so open minded I have trouble holding and supporting my own opinions. I also do not believe in everything the church tells me mainl beacuse times have changes and certain factors should be taken into consderation. I also believe in the forces of Chaos and Law. I believe in Chaos and Law more then religion. Those forces are infinantly more stable compared to religion. I follow Chaos more then Law. I believe that my course is a mix of both. Mainly a set path altered here and there by Chaos. I also believe in the badlands; a realm of chaos, and hope one day to visit this place.

Your turn!

Thanks and much love!

I'm confused... how can you be a Catholic while mainly following chaos and law? unless you just claim to be catholic because your parents are. In which case you really wouldn't be a catholic yourself, you would be... whatever term is coined for chaos and law followers...

I'm not really trying to poke holes in your beliefs, I'm just confused.

And I'm a Christian by the way, from a Pentecostal Church.

I consider myself to be agnostic. Frankly, I honestly don't care any way about religion or God or whatever. It's just not a big part of my life.
That said, I don't consider myself to be atheist, because that's not believing in any sort of religion. I'm just apathetic. *nodnod*

Scientists have proved the force is real. (They were n3rd5 with lots of time on their hands.)

I am spiritual with no definate religion. I mostly catagorise myself as Wiccan/Catholic, when people ask me. But in truth, I believe in auras, in karma, in humankind's ability to be close to the gods and humankind's complete incompetance in that area. I agree with certain ideas and ideals from almost every religion. But I go to a roman catholic church for services and I practise every major Wiccan holiday. I hold these to my heart, because without Spirituality, humans go far far astray. I think that, really, is what I really believe.

(mm, rant. hey, I hear the manor is getting Guelf students to wet T-shirt it up. You heard of that?)

(No, but i should get i on that XD)

Thank you! I don't really know what to say in return, but I love the insite. I mainly did this because I realised I don't understand much about what my friends believe in. Now I do! Muchas gracias.

Sweet. A good way to look at things. Religion can be way to complicated. Thank you!

I know so many atheists! They are so much fun to talk to because most have different reasons as to why they don't believe in a religion. My roomate is an atheist. She thinks religion is out of hand.

Chaos and Law isn't a religion. Just like peace is not a religion. It's a term given to a broad concept that cannot be properly explained. I follow the concepts. Justine would probably be better at explaining this then I. If there was a religion called Choas, I'd totally follow it.
